What is the Implementation of a Behaviour Support Plan?
Behaviour Support Plans are developed by NDIS-registered Behaviour Support Practitioners to reduce behaviours of concern and improve quality of life. At Mapple Care, we implement these plans under the guidance of the practitioner, delivering consistent support to:
- Apply strategies outlined in the BSP (e.g., environmental adjustments, routine management, engagement)
- Support emotional regulation and skill-building
- Implement approved restrictive practices (e.g., physical, chemical, environmental, or seclusion) only where authorised and monitored
- Record and report behaviours, incidents, and plan outcomes
- Helping you access both NDIS-registered and non-registered providers
- Collaborate with your broader team (therapists, families, behaviour practitioners)
- Ensure all practices are in line with NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission requirements

This support is suitable for NDIS participants who:
- Have an NDIS Behaviour Support Plan developed by a registered practitioner
- Require trained support staff to implement proactive and/or restrictive strategies

- Require a consistent, well-trained team to support positive behaviour change

💡 Supports must be delivered in line with the participant’s current and authorised Behaviour Support Plan, and restrictive practices must be reported to the NDIS Commission.
