Our Community Participation supports are designed to help you explore hobbies, learn new skills, and become more engaged in your local community—on your terms and at your pace.
What does Community Participation include?
Our friendly support workers can assist you with:
- Joining local clubs, interest groups, or classes
- Visiting community centres, libraries, or events
- Attending recreational, sporting, or cultural activities
- Going on social outings, day trips, or nature walks
- Volunteering or exploring work experience opportunities
- Shopping, banking, or running errands with support
- Building social skills and confidence in public settings
- Learning to use public transport independently
- Participating in inclusive group programs or peer groups
We’ll work with you to design a plan that reflects your interests, goals, and comfort level—so you always feel supported and in control.

Community Participation is ideal for NDIS participants who:
- Want to become more involved in their community
- Are looking to reduce social isolation
- Want support to try new activities, learn skills, or meet people
- Need help with building confidence in social settings
- Are working towards greater independence and connection
Our team supports participants of all ages and abilities, offering both 1:1 and group-based options.

- Registration Group: 0125 – Participation in Community, Social and Civic Activities
- Common Support Items Include:
- 04_104_0125_6_1 – Community, Social and Recreational Activities – Weekday
- 04_105_0125_6_1 – Weekend and public holiday participation
- 04_590_0125_6_1 – Provider Travel
- 04_799_0125_6_1 – Non-Face-to-Face Support (if agreed upon in the Service Agreement)
These supports are billed hourly and pricing may vary based on time/day, support ratio (1:1 or group), and location. Travel and transport may also be claimable where applicable.
