Our Development of Daily Care and Life Skills service is designed to support NDIS participants in learning essential life skills at their own pace—so you can gain more confidence and control in your daily routines.
What we can help you with
Our support workers and mentors work alongside you to develop core life skills tailored to your needs, goals, and lifestyle. This includes:
- Personal hygiene and self-care routines
- Cooking, nutrition, and meal preparation
- Cleaning, laundry, and home maintenance
- Budgeting, money handling, and using banking services
- Communication skills and relationship building
- Time management and organisational skills
- Travel training and accessing public transport
- Using technology (e.g., mobile phones, apps, safety tools)
- Problem-solving and decision-making in daily situations
We use a person-centred, strengths-based approach to help you feel empowered and ready to take the next step toward independent living.
Who is this support for?
This service is suitable for NDIS participants who:
- Want to become more independent in their home or community
- Are preparing to live on their own or with minimal support
- Need to develop specific daily living or social skills
- Have life goals that involve greater self-reliance or confidence
- Are transitioning from school, family care, or another provider
We provide 1:1 or group-based training, depending on your preference, and deliver supports in your home, out in the community, or online.

- 15_037_0117_1_3 – Individual Skills Development and Training
- 15_045_0128_1_3 – Training for Carers/Parents (if applicable)
These supports are generally delivered by support workers or allied health professionals and may include both face-to-face and non-face-to-face services. Pricing is hourly and capped based on the NDIS Pricing Arrangements 2024–25.
Travel and provider preparation time may also be claimable where relevant and agreed in your Service Agreement.
